AWS Weld Quality Clinic at Saint Paul College

September 13, 2016

Experienced production welders, welding supervisors, and managers:

Attend a customized four-hour interactive seminar that provides attendees the knowledge and skills to consistently make quality welds per American Welding Society’s AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code for steel and MIL STD 248. Participants can then test for AWS D1.1 during the afternoon for the cost of $200 which includes the test and test coupon. Successful completers will be certified - not just qualified - to AWS D1.1. The Weld Quality clinic will focus on MIG welding and participants will be provided with practice and test coupons. A 3/8” plate will be used which will certify participants for 1/8” up to 3/4”. A Saint Paul College Welding Lab will be used for the testing.
