The article covers Lake Superior College's partnership with the Sappi pulp and paper mill in Cloquet, Minnesota to provide the related instruction for dual-training grants received under the Minnesota PIPELINE Project. Dual-training programs provide structured on-the-job training and related instruction so employees can develop the necessary occupational competencies to succeed in their chosen career.

The representative commented on the careful planning that was done to determine the best length of time, learning styles, materials, and class sizes that would best fit the adult learner.
